2013 Volkswagen Passat CC Specs and Review


The market launch phase begins immediately after the launch yesterday. The first Volkswagen will offer a new CC in Germany in February 2012, the then little by little throughout Europe, America, Russia, China (the local version starting in 2013) and all other sales of the relevant class of vehicle.




With the new front and rear styling, a new refined Volkswagen CC makes a move even more boldly to the automotive luxury class. Its extended range of standard features has become more exclusive than they are now including the new bi-xenon headlights, static cornering lights and new LED tail light design. Also standard is certainly not less important: fatigue detection, RCD 310 radio-CD system, stainless door plate and the back of the head of security with additional longitudinal adjustment (front seats).


Volkswagen CC will be powered by gasoline and diesel direct injection engines innovative, all diesel engines (TDI) equipped with Stop Start system and battery regeneration mode (to recover braking energy) as a standard. All petrol engine also has the function of battery regeneration. TDI engine output of 103 kW 140 kW 170 PS and 125 PS. CC petrol engine of the European version develops 118 kW sporty 160 PS, 155 kW 210 kW 300 PS and 220 PS of power. In the United States, Volkswagen will launch once again with a petrol engine that outputs 147 kW 200 PS (TSI) and 206 kW 280 PS (FSI). All engines work with excellent efficiency and maximum. A prime example is the 140 PS TDI. Together with six-speed manual gearbox, the combined fuel consumption of only 4.7 l 100 km (equivalent to 125 g km CO2).
