2013 Ford Mustang series of open deck Specs and Review


The new Mustang, which went on sale in spring 2012, offers a more aggressive design with significantly more prominent grille. Divider add to the appearance of it stronger. Functional heat extractors on the hood of the GT is specifically located and designed to help move hot air from the engine compartment and engine cooling.



The new Mustang offers a revamped line of wheels, ranging from the standard 17-inch wheel for V6 all the way up to 19-inch and optional on the GT V6 Performance Package. With the updated design, also offers a complete wheel and a new touch to the look stronger.
There are two different finishes on the 17-inch wheels - and painted-aluminum engine. Three sets of wheels including the V6 optional 18-inch polished aluminum, aluminum 18-inch painted and updated 19-inch wheel design painted, with a new theme for the V6 Performance Package.
The 18-inch painted aluminum wheels standard on the GT and GT Premium is an evolution of the five-spoke design. 19-inch wheels optional GT comes with a gloss-black finish with machined face to look more sinister.


The 2013 Mustang with a 5.0 liter now will deliver 420 horsepower. Based on lessons learned from developing a high-output 444-horsepower Mustang Boss 302, the team was able to adapt some of the design of the 5.0 liter.
The new Mustang can be determined by a six-speed automatic transmission SelectShift. Advanced control strategies offer the driver a choice between fully automatic operation and manual control. The system is controlled with a selector button on the shifter. Shifter has been enhanced for 2013 with a more modern style and better accessibility.
