2013 BMW X6 Specs and Review


The next BMW X6 will be offered in two models in the United States, the X6 xDrive50i is equipped with 4.4-liter 400 hp V8 TwinPower Turbo and BMW X6 xDrive35i with 300 hp BMW's award winning TwinPower Turbo inline-6. Both are mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission BMW for a unique blend of
responsiveness and efficiency. As an alternative to standard Xenon headlamps, BMW X6 is the first vehicle in its segment to be available with adaptive LED lights. BMW X6 comes as standard four-seat model.


As an optional extra, M Performance Package is available in the United States. Attractive equipment package is not just cosmetic. This includes engine upgrades +15 hp and 30 lb-ft of torque on the X6 xDrive35i and 330 hp to 315 lb-ft. This increase is +40 hp 30-ft of torque at peak output X6 xDrive50i for a total of 440 hp and 480 lb-ft. A three-seat rear bench is available as an option. Volume of luggage Sports Activity Coupe is 25.6 cubic feet (570 liters) and can be extended to up to nearly 60 cu.-ft. (1450 liter) by folding down the rear backrests. In addition, the M Performance Package includes 20-inch light alloy wheels, black chrome exhaust tips, stainless pedals, M foot rest and door sills, shadowline exterior trim, anthracite headliner, and the optional Carbon Black metallic paint. 2013 BMW X6 arrives in U.S. showrooms in the spring of 2012.
