2012 Volkswagen Passat Alltrack Specs Review

Volkswagen Passat Alltrack offered both front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive (4MOTION). However, in both cases the vehicle is designed to attract a large trailer loads and drive through very rough terrain. That is why the torque-strong turbocharged engine used exclusively in the latest Volkswagen - two gasoline (TSI)
and two diesel (TDI) engine. Maximum torque is an efficient four-cylinder engine lies in the range of 250 to 350 Newton meters. None of the four engines require more 1,750 rpm to achieve maximum torque, making it ideal for all driving situations.

140-210 PS, merupakan two of Volkswagen gasoline engine producing 118 kW 160 PS (1.8 liter displacement) and 155 kW 210 PS (2.0 liter displacement) ; two turbodiesels, each with a 2.0 liter displacement, produces 103 kW 140 PS and 125 kW 170 PS. Both TDIs sent as BlueMotion Technology version (BMT) as standard - that is with Stop Start system and battery mode to recover braking energy regeneration. Models with gasoline engine also have a battery regeneration mode.

Under six liters of fuel per 100 km. Just how efficient the machine Alltrack VW Passat 4MOTION working with intelligent all-wheel drive is controlled by two TDIs is illustrated : a combined fuel consumption is a 140 PS version 5.7 l 100 km lower (equivalent to 150 g km CO2), while reached a value of 170 PS version 5.9 l 100 km (155 g km CO2). However, the gasoline engine - which is like a diesel equipped with direct fuel injection - is equally efficient machine. Combined fuel consumption of the 160 PS TSI 7.7 l 100 km, while the 210 PS TSI to 8.5 l 100 km.
