2013 Volvo V40 Specs and Review


Engine range includes everything from the first diesel Volvo Car Corporation with CO2 emissions of only 94 km g to the T5 engine with 254 hp turbocharged gasoline and acceleration from 0 to 100 km h in 6.7 seconds. All versions of the engine start-stop feature and regeneration of braking energy, regardless of whether they are equipped with manual or automatic gearbox.




All-new Volvo V40 has a class-leading safety features and driver support package, including the groundbreaking Pedestrian Detection Volvo Car Corporation with Full Auto Brake and several other new features.


One new feature is the world's first pedestrian airbag, Lane Keeping Assistance with haptic steering wheel, and the ingenious Park Assist Pioneer makes parallel parking easier.
City Safety low-speed collision avoidance system has been further developed and now works at speeds up to 50 km h.
